Fixed Stars Consultation

Fixed stars are simply the stars that you see when you look up at night. Each one is part of a storied constellation which adds its own layer of nuance to a chart.

A fixed star consultation looks at the relationship between the planets and the surrounding stars at your moment of birth. It divides your life roughly into thirds and examines the overarching stories of each period in surprising detail.

This is a great consultation for those who are interested in exploring the larger narratives and themes of their life. It is also a great option for folks who don’t have an accurate birth time.

My approach

My current approach to fixed stars is deeply influenced by myth and legend. Each fixed star is part of a constellation that is steeped in ancient stories. I examine these tales through a modern feminist lens and apply them to the planets in a Hellenistic-style chart.

Since the fixed stars divide each life roughly into thirds, I focus on the most prominent stars within the current third of your life, pulling in other foundational stars and stars of your youth as time allows. If there is a specific third of your life you would like to focus on, please let me know in the intake form.

Also, please note that I do not offer predictive fixed star work. So for example, if you are aged 30, we will not be able to cover the stars active in the last third of your life. Thank you for your understanding.

Key info

Fixed Stars consultations are 90 minutes in length and are held over Zoom. You are welcome to connect through video or audio. After the consultation, I will send you a link to download the video and audio recordings of the session.

On the intake form, you will need to share your birth date, place, and birth time. An accurate birth time allows for greater nuance, although it is not necessary for a Fixed Stars consultation. Please note that an accurate birth place and date are still required.

Scheduling and cost

A fixed star consultation costs $110, which includes the 90-minute Zoom conversation as well as 1-2 hours of chart preparation ahead of time.

Due to the advance preparation, unfortunately refunds are not available. However, I am more than happy to reschedule your consultation with at least 48 hrs’ notice. Please reach out with any questions.
